The United Nations General Assembly designated 11 December as International Mountain Day. This day is an opportunity to create awareness about the importance of mountains to life and to build partnerships that will bring positive change to the world’s Mountains and Highlands. This year the theme is Mountains & Forests so what better way to mark it than be Mountain High on the 11th December and plant a tree.
