What safety measures do you have in place?
There is an inherent risk involved with all our trips. Safety and training briefings will be held prior and during your trip to minimize the chances of injury and pre trip training ensures that you are ready for the challenge ahead. A Thuraya satellite phone is standard on our trips so we will always have means of communication wherever we are. First Aid kits are carried by trip leaders and on some of our trips we will have a Doctor / Nurse with us. All equipment used on the trips is tried and tested and complies with safety specifications for the activity.

How many people might be on my trip?
We prefer to keep our trips on the smaller side which allows us to have less impact on the environment, helps everyone get to know each other and makes cultural interaction easier! Most trips average 8 – 12 clients although we do run them with a minimum of six on some trips. Maximum numbers depends on the specific activities within the trip – 16 is usually a manageable number and if we go above this for any reason extra guides will be on hand!

Can I come on my own?
No problem! Many people join out trips as singles and soon get to know other trip participants. Some trips are open to women only and others are mixed, our clients come from all walks of life and are multi-national – which makes it just as exciting as the trip itself! Age is no barrier – it all depends on the nature of the trip. Most of our trips are adult only trips but family adventures may soon be on our portfolio so watch this space. The eldest lady on our last trip was 70!

What about Altitude Sickness?
Mountain High trips are planned to allow for acclimatization to altitude with gradual ascents and rest days. Please see the detailed information
File on AMS on the information section of our website. The golden rule is to walk slowly, enjoy the scenery and stay hydrated.
