What Can I Expect?

On a Mountain High Challenge – your comfort and safety are our top priority. We work with a team of professional ground handlers in each country and use tried and tested routes, professional guides and the best equipment in the market. Safety and training briefings will be held prior to and during the trip to minimize the chances of injury, and pre-trip training ensures that you are ready for the challenge ahead. Satellite phones are standard on trips to remote areas/ mountain regions. Our trip leaders carry first aid kits and on some of our trips we will have a nurse or doctor with us.

Ranging from 4 to 18 days – our adventures have a fantastic support crew with years of experience and a wealth of knowledge about the area we are in behind them. Jules will accompany you on all expeditions and work with you on pre-trip training which is a great way to make sure you are physically capable of completing and enjoying the trip – pre-training is also a fantastic way to get to know some of the other expedition participants that you will be travelling with.

8 – 16 people is the norm for our trips. We like to keep numbers small to have less impact in the environment, make cultural interaction easier and to make it easy for us to get to know each other.

“Julie Lewis is one of the most inspirational women I have met. She is vibrant, honest and dynamic. Her positive outlook on life is infectious and this quality is clearly defined in Mountain High adventures. The arctic trip was the most amazing trip of my life. It was a turning point for me and where I am now headed. The memories of experiencing an arctic glacier in real life still move me to this day. Totally exquisite and amazing.”
